As well as having clawed hands, the Oni also possesses ape-like feet with claws.įor Ao Oni ver. In the film, the Oni has a noticeably smaller and thinner left arm and a bulkier right arm. The Oni also possesses cat-like eyes that seemingly have regular vision rather than the infrared vision as seen in the games. The Oni now has visible sharp teeth rather than tusks like in the game, a more dark bluish skin tone along with visible veins and rough-looking skin. In the 2014 movie adaptation, the Oni is given a radical makeover to appear more monstrous and scary.
Surprisingly, it seems to be able to open its mouth unusually wide almost half the size of its head, as seen in the very end of the game.
The back of the Oni's head is black, suggesting either dim lighting, or possibly even hair. The Oni usually has the same bemused expression on its face. Its body lacks for the most part, any defining features. The body seems to have no hands save for a few certain cut-scenes in which hands do appear up close. It bears a large downwards-projecting nose and two enormous eyes, one bigger than the other.
Ao Oni's face is nearly identical to that of a human, sans proportion-wise. The Oni is a tall, blue/purple-ish (violet) creature with a large head.
